You can create a Search protocol to use in your project directly from a system-generated template. To create a search protocol, complete the following procedure.
  1. In the Project space menu, select Collections.
  2. Select a collection.
  3. Select Protocols > Search Protocols.
  4. Click Create New Protocol and select Create from template.
    • A new protocol is generated with a default filename search-protocol-<datetime>.xlsx and show up as the last entry in the protocol table.
  5. Once the Processing Status is Completed, select the row for the new protocol template.
  6. View the template search protocol information. It contains the following columns:
    1. Search Terms. Boolean keyword queries in dtSearch format.
    2. Start Time. Start date constraint in YYYY-MM-DD format.
    3. End Time. End date constraint in YYYY-MM-DD format.
    4. Custodian(s). Custodian constraint in list format, separated by semicolons.
  7. On the protocol’s page, select Edit and make your desired changes.
  8. Click Save.
