  • Workflows. Workflows enable users to configure and run structured, multi‑step AI processes, bringing consistency and clarity to complex review and analysis tasks.
  • Libraries. Libraries centralize reusable knowledge used by workflows, helping ensure consistent inputs and reducing repeated setup across projects.

Enhancements in Release 2.0.0

This release contains the following enhancements and updates.

Epiq AI for Privilege Review

Epiq AI for Privilege Review is an AI-powered product designed to streamline and scale the identification, classification, and logging of privileged documents during legal review. It automates the end-to-end privilege review workflow, from data ingestion and metadata extraction through privilege classification and privilege log generation, significantly reducing manual effort while maintaining high accuracy. This workflow is built for law firms, corporate legal departments, and eDiscovery teams who need to process large volumes of documents for privilege review. It can be used as a standalone workflow or integrated with existing platforms, such as Epiq Discover or Relativity.

Epiq AI

Updated branding and visual style

Logo and buttons use a refreshed color palette in v2.0. Changes are visual only and do not affect functionality. Added a breadcrumb at the top of the Home page to help users understand where they are in the product at all times and navigate back easily.

AI Chat renamed to Ask AI

AI Chat has been renamed to Ask AI to reflect a clearer, action-oriented entry point for AI interactions.

Account-level toggle relocated

The account-level toggle is now located above the Ask AI button to make account context more visible and accessible.

Inference

Improved inference scalability with multi-GPU support and asynchronous batch execution.

Activity tracking

Improved activity tracking by updating the last-activity refresh interval to 60 seconds.

Projects

Project space

Added a Project space, which serves as a visual and organizational container for all project-related components. The new Project space provides a centralized and expandable structure as projects grow in complexity.

Project Settings

  • Removed Custodians tab.
  • Renamed Fields tab to Metadata Fields.
  • Added Tags, Annotation Fields, and Background Jobs tabs.
These changes provide more flexibility for managing project data and processing activity.

Libraries

Libraries provide a centralized place to manage reusable project knowledge that powers Epiq AI workflows. By organizing and maintaining shared resources such as entities, domains, and prompts, Libraries help ensure workflows run with consistent, high‑quality inputs. This makes it easier to reuse knowledge across workflows, reduce manual setup, and improve accuracy as projects evolve.

Workflows

Workflows introduce a structured, repeatable way to configure and run multi‑step AI processes in Epiq AI. With workflows, teams can define how data is prepared, analyzed, and acted on, bringing consistency, transparency, and control to complex review and analysis tasks. Workflows help streamline execution while making it easier to understand what is running, how steps connect, and where results come from.

Knowledge

Entities

Improved entity (persons and organizations) handling to ensure consistent data creation during bulk operations.
