Prerequisites
- Relativity Environment: Ensure you have access to a RelOne instance or a Relativity server.
- RAP File: Obtain the RAP file for Laer AI Relativity connector.
- Relativity User Account: A user account with sufficient permissions to install applications and interact with workspaces.
- Epiq AI Admin Account: an Admin account in Epiq AI with permissions to connect an Epiq AI collection to a Relativity workspace.
Step 1: Installing the RAP File

Step 2: Relativity Agents
There are two Relativity agents that will be automatically created after the connector is successfully installed:- LAER AI Relativity Connector agent:
- The connection, authentication, outbound and inbound flow between Relativity and AIDA processes are delegated to the LAER AI Relativity Connector.
- LAER AI Prediction Import agent:
- Responsible for handling all AIDA Prediction Import jobs ensuring the management of the execution and the accurateness of data importation.
Step 3: Configuration and Authentication
Once the application is installed, the user must configurate the Authentication Configuration Tab. This will allow connection between the application and Epiq AI. The configuration of the authentication is based per Relativity Workspace. The following fields should be populated by the user for a proper authentication:- Base URL:
- Populate the URL address for LAER AI API connectivity.
- Username and Password:
- Providing username and password from the Epiq AI side
- User Interaction:
- No (default value): the application will not track for any changes on the coding layouts and will not create jobs by itself.
- Yes: track and create AIDA Jobs for each saved changes on any coding layouts for the selected Responsive/Privileged Designation Document Fields in the configuration.
Step 4: Confirm installation
After a proper populated configuration, Post Install Event Handler will generate Project Name and Collection(s) where:- The project name in Epiq AI will be with the same name as the Relativity Matter on which the application is installed.
- Each project will include collections and tier names will be generated with the same name as the Relativity Workspace
