Epiq AI can upload metadata to a collection as an overlay or it can append new metadata fields while keeping all existing ones. To upload metadata, complete the following procedure.
  1. In the Project space menu, select Collections.
  2. Select a collection.
  3. Select Data uploads.
  4. Select Create an upload.
  5. Select Metadata and choose one of the following:
    • Overlay metadata. Upload new metadata while replacing existing metadata.
    • Append metadata. Append new metadata while keeping all existing metadata.
  6. Enter an Upload Name and select a Date Format.
  7. Upload your load file (DAT or CSV). You can find your load file under the DATA folder or at the top level of the drive.
  8. Select Next.
  9. Validate the field mapping and select Upload.
