Input data
The Privilege workflow requires a dataset containing the documents to be analyzed for privilege. When preparing input data for this workflow:- Import a dataset that reflects the scope of documents under review.
- Ensure the dataset contains sufficient text and metadata to support privilege analysis.
- Apply appropriate filtering before import to limit the dataset to relevant documents.
Steps
The Steps tab lists the components used to perform privilege review and log generation. Each component represents a step in the analysis and contributes to the overall workflow outcome. In this workflow, the components are:| Component | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Metadata Extraction | Extracts metadata from source documents, including message internal metadata. |
| Name Normalization | Standardizes participant and organization names across the extracted metadata. |
| Entity Labeling | Classifies participants and organizations according to their type (for example, counsel, law firm). |
| Metadata Normalization | Applies normalized names to the documents. |
| Privilege Classification | Classifies documents according to their privilege category. |
| Privilege Log Generation | Creates description fields for the privilege log. |
- Map fields or metadata
- Define analysis parameters
- Review default instructions
Step Results
The Results tab shows how the Privilege Review workflow progresses through its components once it is run. As the workflow executes:- Components move through their defined stages
- Progress indicators reflect the current state of analysis
- Completed components indicate that their portion of the workflow has finished successfully
Outputs
The Outputs tab displays the results generated by the Privilege Review workflow. Outputs may include:- Analysis results that indicate potential privilege
- Structured data produced by the workflow components
- Artifacts used for review or downstream processes
Runs
The Runs tab provides a history of workflow activity. From this tab, you can:- See when the Privilege Review workflow was run or deployed
- Review the status of past runs
- Identify which runs completed successfully and which may require attention
