# Manage background jobs

Each operation that runs in a project has a corresponding background job. You can view the status of these jobs and take action as needed.

To manage background jobs for a project, complete the following procedure.

1. In the **Project space** menu, select **Settings**.
2. Select **Background Jobs**.
3. Review the table to see the list of project operations and their statuses. From the table, you can:
   * Stop a job.
     * For operations with a status of **In progress**, open the **Actions** menu <img src="https://mintcdn.com/epiqai/EvD16a-ShRZsx03D/images/actions-menu.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=EvD16a-ShRZsx03D&q=85&s=fbd07e823a152076de905ba433ae64bb" alt="" width="41" height="35" data-path="images/actions-menu.png" />and select **Stop**.
   * Remove a job from Project Settings.
     * For operations with a status of **Completed** or **Failed**, open the **Actions** menu <img src="https://mintcdn.com/epiqai/EvD16a-ShRZsx03D/images/actions-menu.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=EvD16a-ShRZsx03D&q=85&s=fbd07e823a152076de905ba433ae64bb" alt="" width="41" height="35" data-path="images/actions-menu.png" />and select **Delete**.&#x20;
