# Add a tag group

Once you create a tagging panel, the next step is to add a tag group.

To add a tag group to a tagging panel, complete the following procedure.

1. In the **Project space** menu, select **Settings**.
2. Select **Tags**.
3. Select your **Tagging Panel** from the dropdown.
4. Click **New tag group**.
5. In the New **Tag Group** box, do the following:
   1. Type a name.
   2. Type a description.
   3. Select the checkbox for the options you want:
      1. Mutual Exclusive
      2. Visible
      3. Required
   4. Click **Create**.
