# Edit a protocol

You can edit existing Review and Search protocols in your project. 

To edit a protocol, complete the following procedure.

1. In the **Project space** menu, select **Collections**.
2. Select a collection.
3. Select **Protocols** and choose **Review Protocols** or **Search Protocols**.
4. Select the protocol row.
5. On the protocol's page, select **Edit**.
6. Make your changes and click **Save**. 
   * Every time you save changes, Epiq AI creates a new protocol version in the **History**.
