# Create a review protocol from a template

You can create a Review protocols to use in your project directly from a system-generated template. 

To create a review protocol, complete the following procedure.

1. In the **Project space** menu, select **Collections**.
2. Select a collection.
3. Select **Protocols** > **Review Protocols**.
4. Click **Create New Protocol** and select **Create from template**.
   * A new protocol is generated with a default filename **protocol-\<*****datetime*****>.docx** and show up as the last entry in the protocol table.
5. Once the **Processing Status** is **Completed**, select the row for the new protocol template.
6. View the template protocol information.
7. On the protocol page, select **Edit** and make your desired changes.
8. Click **Save**.
