# Edit a collection

You can update a collection’s name, description, or type.

To edit a collection, complete the following steps.

1. In the **Project space** menu, select **Collections**.
2. Locate the collection you want to edit and select the **Actions** menu in the collection row.
3. Select **Edit**.
4. In the **Edit a collection** dialog box, update the available fields:
   * **Name**
   * **Description**
   * **Collection type**
5. Select **Update** to apply your changes.
