# Upload native overlays

You can upload updated versions of previously uploaded native documents into Epiq AI.

To upload a native overlay, complete the following procedure.

1. In the **Project space** menu, select **Collections**.
2. Select a collection.
3. Select **Data uploads**.
4. Select **Create an upload**.
5. Select **Documents** > **Native Overlay**.
6. Type an **Upload Name** and select **Next**.
7. Add your files using one of these options:
   * Drag and drop a folder of files.
   * Upload a ZIP or multipart ZIP file.
   * Select a cloud storage location. Cloud storage must be added at the account level in Admin settings to be available here.
     * Enter the storage URL and select **Validate URL**.
     * If your cloud storage requires passwords for decryption, select **Has passwords** and type them in the text box, one per line.
8. Select **Upload**.
