# Apply highlights to a collection

Once you have a highlight group with terms, you can apply it to your collection documents. Applying a highlight group or individual highlight term across your documents makes the terms show up with the selected color in the document view.

To apply highlights to your collection documents, complete the following procedure.

1. In Collection **Settings**, select **Highlights**.
2. Select the highlight group you want to use and do one of the following:
   1. To apply highlighting to all terms in the group, select **Apply**.
   2. To apply highlight to individual terms, hover over the term and select **Apply**.
3. In the **Project space** menu, select **Dashboard**.
4. Select **My Documents**.
5. Search for one of your highlight terms and select a result to confirm your highlight is in the documents.
