# Knowledge Layer Inspection

To explore the knowledge layer constructed by AIDA upon first ingesting the data, return to the project root directory.

Then on the left-hand menu bar, click **Knowledge** to enter the Knowledge Layer view and to begin exploring it.

The Knowledge Layer view lets you explore the data tables by filtering different categories (e.g., attorneys, organizations, names).

Clicking on entities in the Knowledge Layer view allows you to explore all of the information that was extracted and consolidated from reading the ingested data. You are able to edit the data to enter additional details or to edit existing fields by hovering over them.
