# Prepare for a workflow

Before you run a workflow, you need to prepare your dataset and libraries. Completing these steps helps improve classification accuracy and reduces cleanup work later in the process.

**Prerequisite:** Make sure you have access to your document set, attorney lists, and any matter-specific information you need to customize your instructions.

To prepare for a workflow, complete the following procedure.

1. Clean your dataset.
   * Remove duplicate documents from the dataset before importing.
   * Verify that all documents load completely.
   * Confirm that required metadata fields are present and accurate.
2. Prepare your Libraries.
   * Upload the list of known attorneys to the appropriate library.
   * Add domain lists for key organizations involved in the matter.
   * Update the lists as new entities or domains are discovered during review.

Once preparation is complete, you can configure and run your workflow.
