# Documents

In addition to entity extraction, Epiq AI extracts document-level knowledge and relationships between documents. This includes:

* **Email Threading**: Detecting and structuring email conversations, showing how they relate to each other.
* **Chat and Messaging Analysis**:  Organizing the chat messages by message channels, participants, and timestamps, and constructing conversation threads across documents.
* **Communication Patterns and Trends**: Epiq AI analyzes communication data to uncover trends, such as recurring topics and the involvement of specific entities (e.g., key people or organizations).
