## Litigation document types

Below is a list of common litigation document types that can be detected by Aida.&#x20;

| Response                 | A reply to a legal motion or filing, addressing issues raised by the opposing party.                          |
| Statement                | A written or oral declaration of facts made during legal proceedings.                                         |
| Affidavit                | A written statement confirmed by oath or affirmation, used as evidence in court.                              |
| Brief                    | A document outlining the legal arguments and facts supporting a party's position in a case.                   |
| Certificate              | An official document verifying a fact or statement, often used as evidence.                                   |
| Citation                 | A reference to legal authority, such as statutes or previous cases, supporting a legal argument.              |
| Civil Cover Sheet        | A form filed with a civil lawsuit providing basic information about the case.                                 |
| Declaration              | A formal statement asserting facts, often sworn under penalty of perjury.                                     |
| Request                  | A formal plea for information or action, often made during discovery.                                         |
